For those of you travelling and in search of the perfect picture, know you are far from being alone! As Big Seven has just released its new ranking of the most Instagrammable cities, Secret London proudly announced that London is rather well-ranked. To celebrate London’s 12th place in the world ranking, we have gathered for you twelve unmissable places to take the perfect picture to update your feed, mixing classics and a few original locations.

12) We begin our ranking with a necessary reminder of your childhood. Situated in King’s Cross, the platform 9 ¾ where Harry, Hermione and Ron took their train to Hogwarts is open to the public. If I cannot guarantee you will manage to pass through the wall, I am however convinced you will get a good picture. While you’re there, check out the rest of the station which is definitely worth a moment of your time.

11) St Dunstan in the East: The ruins of this church, destroyed by a German bomb during World War II, will offer you a truly unique and peaceful atmosphere and the perfect location to take pretty photos. Little extra, this place is so tranquil and magical that chances are high of running into a groom and bride taking their wedding photos.

10) The City and Canary Warf: The two most important business districts of London will without a doubt offer you gorgeous pictures of sunsets reflected on the Thames and on the Skyscrapers. No worries though if time is not your friend, both neighborhoods will be an impressive sight no matter the time of the day.

9) If you do make it to the City, make space in your schedule for Sky garden, one of the most accessible skyscrapers of the City even if you might have to book in advance. Going all the way up is free of charge and the wait will be quickly forgotten once you reach the 35th floor and its gorgeous 360º view of London. You will even be able to take pictures on the impressive terrace overlooking the Thames

8) Anywhere in Shoreditch: Shoreditch is a neighborhood renowned for its mural art. Take a stroll around Brick Lane, the heart of the neighborhood, and discover the current frescoes, as the latter evolve with the new upcoming artists

7) Columbia Flower Market: or the nicest spot of London to take pictures in front of stands filled with fragrant and colorful flowers.

6) EL&N: If your favorite color is pink, EL&N will be your absolute heaven. Perfect for a lunch or an afternoon tea, these restaurants (spread across London) are entirely equipped, from the chairs to the food, for Instagram-worthy pictures

5) Ballie Ballerson: In fifth place is London’s most Instagrammable bar. The ball pit, main activity of this bar, the colorful lights and the mirrors on the ceiling, will ensure great photos.

4) Coal’s Drop Yard: Close to Kings Cross, the recently redesigned shopping and dining hotspot will not disappoint you picture-wise. Your choice is wide, between the Granary Square Brasserie adorned by two large and brightly-colored parrots overlooking the main entrance, and the fairy-lights lining the interior aisles of the ‘yard’.

3) the Victoria and Albert Museum: In addition to its extensive art collect, the V&A is very photogenic. Whether in front of the museum, in its courtyard or in its large rooms filled with light and lined with statues, you will find your perfect photo spot in this haven.

2) Wander about Notting Hill and take a look at its mythical pastel houses which will provide you with an infinite source of inspiration for pictures. If you come on a Saturday, do not miss the Portobello Road market, a nice location for pictures, and a place where you will find amongst the antiques, accessories and vintage clothing - the new essentials you didn’t know you needed.

1) We conclude our ranking with a London classic: Neal’s Yard. For an explosion of bright colors, this is your destination. From wherever you stand, this yard and its painted windows and buildings, will impress you. For the perfect finale of your Instagram feed, we recommend extending your walk all the way to the back of the yard where you will find painted wings on the wall of the Redemption Bar, perfect for a photoshoot.
