Oscar Jefferson read History at university and upon graduation had a perfect good job. But then, relatively out of the blue, he decided to take a ‘gap year’, took time off from his job, packed his bags and jetted to China to teach English.
TalksforTeens asked Oscar what drove him, how the experience was and if it changed him. He said that, with hindsight, he would have taken an earlier gap year directly after school and his advice, if you can take a gap year either before or directly after university, do it! It will be life changing.
