Do you fancy trying Triathlon? World Champion Alistair Brownlee talks about how triathlons are becoming increasingly popular and how the Brownlee Foundation is helping to change young people’s lives. By the way, triathlons are endurance sports to the max, consisting of swimming, cycling and running over various distances.
Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, Olympic triathlon athletes, set up the Brownlee Foundation to get young people interested in the sport. And they have succeeded as about 30,000 young people today have tried it. For 2022 many events are planned and about 10 to 20,000 young people are set to take part.
Listen to the TalksforTeens podcast with Alistair Brownlee as he explains both the physical and mental health benefits of this emerging sport, about the foundation and – not least - his own intense daily and weekly training schedule.
